Now that Shatrughan Sinha has allowed Salman Khan to launch his daughter Sonakshi as a leading lady in Dabangg, the Bollywood hunk is taking his duty as the protective guardian very seriously. Initially, the Sinhas were opposed to the idea of a film career for their daughter.
But Sallu convinced them by promising to look after the girl. And so far, he has more than lived up to his word.
Apparently he has not only advised her to lose more weight, he has also told her not to do too many films at the same time. Shatru, who visited him on Eid with his family, is bowled over by his concern.
“I think that’s sound advice. We used to work round-the-clock and did multiple shifts. He understands the way to work better than we did.”
