(1) starred in the film 'Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Robot’ or ‘Endhiran’ that was the most expensive film made in India with cost of over Rs 150 crore, paired with South Indian Demi-God Rajinikanth. It did a staggering business at box office and at some parts (like Chennai) the theater owners had to run early morning (3 am) shows to meet the sky-high demand.
Another Flop Movie Raavan – It was the 2nd most expensive film of the year and was inspired from the Hindu epic ‘Ramayan.’, directed by Mani Ratnam. It was beheaded by critics and audience.
Third One Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘Guzaarish’ – It made up with budget of over Rs 50 crore, with Hrithik Roshan was heavily appreciated by the critics.
It was poetically beautiful with a poignant storyline and masterly cinematography, but unfortunately, it was a dud at the box office.
(2) As per Recent Bollywood Gossips, Aishwarya Rai was really unwell because of viral flu; she went to Singapore for the award night in advance and never threw any tantrums. She threw airs at Singapore as she came on stage for rehearsals at her own preferred time thus disturbing the schedules of others.
She has now set the records straight by issuing a clarification statement citing that she was very unwell at the time. She was suffering from viral flu but despite her personal discomfort she vehemently maintains that she didn’t change the schedule as is being wrongly reported.
