As per Latest Bollywood Interviews, Salman Khan said that, "She (Katrina) is doing an item song in the film. It is a title song...just a bit. Bebo had asked Katrina to an item song and I had given the approval for it."
"When did we break-up. We did not work together because Himesh was busy doing his films and I was not so busy doing my films."
"Those who do not require bodyguards have one. Katrina does not need a bodyguard."

(2) “Shera” who is Salman Khan Bodyguard, was invited by Sallu Bhai to launch the music of this movie.
As he thanked him at the event he couldn't stop himself from unveiling his, the man and not the actor to the world.
It was kind of him (Salman) to give me an opportunity to launch the trailer of his film 'Bodyguard'. At first I couldn't believe it.
I have been working with Salman Bhai for the past 15 years. He is family and I will most happily take every bullet if at all fired at him as his bodyguard.
